Where do I find a finished recording?
Look in the left sidebar for a new project with the meeting's name, such as "Weekly Customer Interview". If Clipses could not read the name, for example when you pasted a link, the project is called something like "Google Meet - Oct 6". You can also click Open in Clipses next to the recording in the extension's toolbar menu.
Inside the project, the video is named after the meeting, the platform and the time of the call. It gets a transcript automatically, like any upload.
Can I move it into an existing project?
Yes. The first time you open the recording, a box asks Where should this recording live? You can:
- Type a new name under Name this project and click Save.
- Pick a project under Or move it to an existing project and click Move.
- Click Keep it as it is to leave it where it is.
Whichever you choose, Clipses will not ask again for that recording. Later, you can still use Copy to another project from the video's menu.
Why does each call get its own project?
So a call never lands in the middle of unrelated work. It stays on its own until you decide where it belongs.
Does a recording count toward my plan limits?
Yes. The new project counts toward your active project limit, and the video counts toward your storage hours. If you are at your project limit, Clipses asks you to upgrade or archive a project before it can record.
