How many recordings can be in progress?
Five. That counts every recording that is getting ready, joining, waiting to be let in or recording. If you try a sixth, the extension says You already have 5 recordings in progress. Wait for one to finish before starting another.
Can two notetakers join the same call?
No. One Clipses per call. If one is already booked, joining or in the call, the extension tells you so instead of sending another. Once that recording has finished, stopped or been cancelled, you can add Clipses to the same call again.
How long can a recording be?
Each recording can be up to 2GB. A call that passes that size is not kept.
Do recordings use my plan's storage?
Yes. A recorded call counts toward your storage hours the same way an uploaded video does. On the Free plan that is 2 hours in total. If a call is longer than the storage you have left, the row reads Didn't record with the message This call is longer than the storage left on your plan, so it couldn't be kept. See What plans does Clipses offer?
Why does it say my plan allows 3 active projects?
Every recording lands in its own new project, and the Free plan allows 3 active projects. At that limit the extension says Your plan allows 3 active projects. Upgrade or archive a project to add another. Archive a project you are not using, or upgrade, then add Clipses again. See How do I manage my projects?
Does recording work on the Free plan?
Yes. Recording works on every plan, within the limits above.
