What costs credits?
Only questions you ask in a project's Chat tab inside Clipses. Each of those uses 20 credits. A search run by a connected assistant does not touch that balance, so you can ask Claude or ChatGPT as many questions about your interviews as you like. Is anything the assistant does metered?
No. Listing projects and recordings, reading transcripts, searching, creating playlists, adding quotes, importing from Google Drive, and rendering reels are all free. Imports still count toward your plan's storage, and reel downloads follow your plan's rules, the same as in the app.
Is there any limit at all?
There is a high daily safety cap to stop a runaway tool from searching thousands of times. A person working normally will not reach it. If the assistant reports a rate limit, wait a while and carry on.
Why does the assistant pick a particular AI model?
Searches from an assistant use the same models as Chat in the app. The default is available on every plan, and the larger models are available on paid plans, so an assistant on a Free account may be told to use the default model instead.
