Disconnecting cuts off the assistant's access to your projects and transcripts straight away. You can reconnect later by approving it again from the assistant.
- Log in to Clipses and open Settings from the sidebar.
- Scroll to the API Tokens section.
- Under Connected apps, find the assistant you want to remove. Each entry shows when it was connected and when it was last used.
- Click the trash icon next to it.
- Click Disconnect to confirm.
Remove it from the assistant too
Disconnecting in Clipses revokes access, but the assistant still has the Clipses connector saved and will ask you to sign in again the next time it tries to use it. To stop that, remove the connector on the assistant's side as well. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and remove Clipses. In ChatGPT, do the same under Settings, then Connectors. For Cursor, VS Code, and other tools, remove the Clipses entry from the tool's MCP configuration. See the full connection guide for where each client keeps it.
If you connected with an API token instead
Tools that cannot sign in use a token rather than a connection, so they appear in the token list above Connected apps rather than in it. Click the trash icon next to the token, then Revoke token. Anything using that token loses access immediately, and this cannot be undone. Delete the token from the tool's settings as well. See How do I connect an AI tool that does not support sign-in?.
